Press Release Regarding The New Government Of Bosnia & Herzegovina, 10 February 2012 , 13.02.2012

No: 41, 10 February 2012

We welcome the approval of the composition of the Ministers and Deputy Ministers based on the agreement of 28 December 2011 reached by the six winning political parties of the 3rd October 2010 elections and the official formation of the sixth government of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) under the Chairmanship of Vyekoslav Bevanda at today’s session of the BiH House of Representatives.              We wish the new government every success in meeting the challenges ahead and in implementing the long expected reforms. We reiterate once again our commitment to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in every aspect.

On the other hand, H.E. Bakir İzetbegoviç, Bosniak Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will pay a working visit to Turkey on 14-16 February 2012.

H.E. İzetbegoviç will conduct talks and exchange views with H.E. President Gül and Foreign Minister H.E. Davutoğlu, on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.

H.E. İzetbevoviç will also meet Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Ali Babacan and Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, H.E. Mehdi Eker. During the talks, the ways of strengthening the economic and trade relations between the two countries and the possibilities to increase the Turkish investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be taken up.

Turkey attaches great importance to its relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina for lasting peace and stability in the Balkans, and acts with solidarity for the enhancement of the well-being and prosperity of the friendly and brotherly people of this country.
